WEBSITE TO MOBILE APP

Keep your website at the center of your mobile experience.

Use the site you already maintain as the live experience inside a branded Android or iOS app.

✓ One website to maintainLive web experience

A working Android build is only one part of a Google Play launch. The store also needs accurate business information, declarations, screenshots and a tested release.

Set up the developer account

Create the Play Console account in the name of the person or business that should own the listing. Complete identity and organization checks early because verification can take time.

Prepare the listing

Write a clear app title, short description and full description. Capture screenshots from the real app and prepare the required icon and feature graphic. Claims in the listing should match what the app actually does.

Complete policy declarations

Review data safety, content rating, advertising, target audience and account deletion requirements. If users can create an account, make sure the required deletion route is available and described accurately.

Practical checklist

  • Verify the Play Console account
  • Prepare screenshots and listing copy
  • Publish a privacy policy
  • Complete data safety answers
  • Run internal testing
  • Fix warnings before production review

Treat the store listing as part of the product. Clear information and careful testing make the review process easier to manage.

The practical rule

Test the complete customer journey on a real phone before submitting an app to either store.

SEE IT ON YOUR OWN WEBSITE

Start with the site you already have.

Build a test version, check the customer journey on a real device, and choose your launch plan when you are ready.
